After graduating at the Polytechnic Institute of Milan, Mr Braga Illa was a researcher and held courses at the Lincoln Laboratory and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also led the Optical Communications Group and the Network Systems. He directed the R&D Labs at Italtel, founded Zeltron S.p.A. and managed the restructuring of Ducati Energia as a General Manager. Mr. Braga Illa founded TXT Automation Systems, sold to ABB in 1997, and TXT e-solutions in 1989.
Graduated in Electronic Engineering, Marco Guida managed several innovative IT projects in various areas of the manufacturing operations of Pirelli Group until 1994, when he joined TXT e-solutions. At first he was responsible for the Advanced Information Systems Division and then in January 2000 he became Vice President. As Director of International Operations successfully led the transformation of TXT e-solutions from an Italian organization to an International one managing also the acquisition and integration of two companies (in D and the UK). In 2006 he became the General Manager of TXT e-solutions and then starting from January 2009 Marco Guida is the Chief Executive Officer of TXT Group.
A physics graduate, Tullio Pirovano worked for IBM Italy where he managed several software projects for important national and international customers, mainly in the field of data communication. During his tenure there he was also responsible for software development for special projects. At TXT e-solutions since 1998, he has led the growth of the Polymedia business unit, to become General Manager of the Media & Telco business unit today.
After graduating from Milan’s Bocconi University and majoring in business administration at the University of San Diego (California), has had significant experience in the financial world. He was initially an analyst in London for three years and then worked for the Recordati Group for seven years, with responsibility for treasury management. In the following seven years he was Head of Finance, Administration & Control in Europe for Eurand, a company listed on NASDAQ in May 2007.
After graduating in Electronic Engineering, in 1979 he joined Olivetti in Ivrea and then he became a University Researcher and a Consultant for important IT companies. In 1984 he joined TXT and ever since he has guided the startup and the development of advanced system integration and Information Technology services in different markets (Aerospace & Defence, Banking & Finance, High Tech Manufacturing…), which converged in the Business Unit TXT Next.
Andrea Cencini, who holds an ICT degree, was in charge of the design and development of network monitoring systems in a leading telecommunications firm. He joined TXT e-solutions in 1989 and since then has held different positions of growing importance in the company, including that of Manager of the business units CRM and e-business. Andrea Cencini is currently TXTPERFORM B.U. Director.
