Polymedia Mobile

Polymedia Mobile is a software product for the management of Value Added Services (VAS) for mobile devices, especially designed for broadcasters aiming to extend their TV programs with interactive services via mobile phones.

Polymedia Mobile is an open software system based on recognized standards (e.g., Java, XML, SOAP etc.) supporting all the main communication protocols adopted by mobile operators.

Platform administration is achieved by means of Web interfaces allowing TV producers to directly create and configure new services or enhance existing ones.

The Polymedia Mobile has a built-in integration with the TXT Polymedia Video, the TXT Polymedia own Multichannel Content & Asset Management system, but it can also be easily integrated with other editorial or content management systems via a public API.

The Polymedia Mobile product is now used by all the main Italian broadcasters.

Main functions

The main VAS applications supported by Polymedia Mobile are:

• Distribution of information via SMS/MMS;
• SMS live voting;
• Publishing of SMS/MMS messages received during a TV program to web pages, Teletext Services and on TV subtitling. The system includes automatic and human-based reviewing tools;
• Mobile phone personalization (ring tones, wallpapers, Java games etc.);
• Trivia games.

TXT Polymedia supports base and premium SMS messages for both MT and MO messages.
