Polymedia TV Recorder

Polymedia TV Recorder is a Web based product that enables recording, storage and delayed viewing of any contents, both audio and video, broadcasted by TV or radio channels.

The Polymedia TV Recorder product is designed for TV and radio operators, publishers, communication and advertising agencies, advertisers or other businesses that need to access TV broadcasts for the sake of their professional activities, such as generation of press and video reviews and in general, all activities that call for a consultation of what has been broadcasted.

The TXT Polymedia product can also be used by broadcasters as the basis for the development of a Web-based "catch-up TV" service.

Main functions

By means of the Polymedia TV Recorder, the user can search by means of a simple and user friendly Web interface the whole archive of recorded audiovisual content. An Electronic Programme Guide and a sequence of video frames recorded at regular time intervals simplify the searching of the desired content.

The selected audio/video contents are then streamed to the user's PC.

In addition, each user can create and manage his bookmarks for defining a personalized view of the recorder materials.

The Advanced Edition of the software enables to cut video clips and download them on the local PC. Recorded contents may be protected through DRM (Digital Rights Management) in order to prevent piracy.
