Business Conduct: Management of Facilities, Risks and Opportunities

Corporate culture is key to integrating economic, environmental, and social impacts into business strategy. It involves policies focused on social responsibility, sustainability, and community engagement, creating jobs and reducing reputational risks.

The Group follows the Code of Ethics and the Organisation, Management, and Control Model (MOG 231), adopted in 2023. The Code sets principles of honesty, integrity, and fairness for all company members. The MOG 231 establishes rules to prevent unlawful conduct, applying to employees, collaborators, and third parties.

The Model identifies risks, maps sensitive activities, and codifies conduct rules in the Code of Ethics and company procedures. It ensures clear roles, traceability, power segregation, and continuous monitoring. Disciplinary sanctions apply for violations. The Supervisory Board oversees the Model’s application and suggests updates for improvement.

Objectives:

•    To promote sustainability and social responsibility.
•    Prevent unlawful conduct with clear rules.
•    Monitor the effectiveness of the control system.

Software for Reducing CO2 Emissions in Air Routes

The Flight Optimizer Profile (FPO) is a software tool designed for pilots and flight operators that offers real-time, practical, and actionable advice to enhance flight efficiency, tailored to current conditions. By optimizing flight routes, the FPO reduces fuel consumption, leading to a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions from fuel combustion. On average, the software helps reduce annual fuel consumption by 1%, depending on aircraft type and airline policies.

With the adoption of the FPO in 2024 by approximately 2,000 aircraft, including those from some of the industry’s leading airlines, it is estimated that fuel savings amounted to 185,827,000 lbs, resulting in a CO2 reduction of 687,560,000 lbs during the reporting year.
